THE HIGH PRIESTESS…

I am very much connecting to this card today - The High Priestess is the astrological card for Pisces. My sign!

The High Priestess, such a beautifully strong card to pull. By strong, I mean a graceful strength. The strength obtained from listening to your intuition and inner wisdom and stepping forward into the person you know you can be.

This card shows the beautiful balance and duality of both the feminine and masculine. Balance shown in the pillars with the J and B. The J represents the masculine (logic, practicality and strength) and the B, represents the feminine (intuition, imagination and compassion). They are opposites, but bring a balance when they join forces. The cross on her chest also symbolises the balance of male and female energy. Her blue robe is symbolising knowledge and she is seen holding the TORAH – she is holding all of that sacred wisdom in her hands.

The High Priestess is wearing the crown of the Triple Goddess. The triple Goddess is a triple moon that represents the Maiden, Mother, and Crone as the waxing, full, and waning moon. It is also associated with feminine energy, mystery and psychic abilities.

Last Thursday was the Full Moon, and those who follow me on Instagram would have seen a post about it. This Full Moon was calling us to connect with our elder within. Our wise woman. Our inner teacher. She was calling us to release the things from our past that don’t serve us, so we can flow into the future with all of the wisdom that those lessons gifted us. This card is a nice follow on from this.

At the feet of The High Priestess you can see a moon which is representing her imagination and her ability to see beyond the visible and obvious things before her. Behind her, a veil with seeds. These are the seeds that have been planted as a result of investing in and nourishing her garden (soul). To give it the care and love it deserves so it is able to blossom, grow and flourish.

This isn’t a card for tangible things, it’s about forming ideas that can lead to real results. So, it is the action of actually planting the seeds/ideas so that you are giving them the opportunity to blossom.

This is a time to be with yourself and reflect so you can allow your inner intuition to awaken and you can tap into your inner wisdom on a deep level.

The High Priestess is a card for spiritual and intuitive development. To expand yourself and allow yourself to tap into your inner intuitive wise woman. We are all born with intuitive abilities, however, sometimes along the way they are squashed and blocked. This is a calling to come back to yourself. To give yourself the love and care your soul craves. To honour the unique mystical gifts you have in you that are wanting to be unlocked and shared.

The High Priestess - The guardian of the unconscious. She is sitting on the veil – the veil that separates us from our inner selves. She knows how to access these realms and is wanting you to also.

This card appears when you need to listen to and trust your inner voice. To pay attention to your dreams, listen to the messages, take note of the symbols. It helps to keep a dream journal. By writing it down you are acknowledging its message. Take note and listen to what your inner voice and dreams are trying to tell you. Notice the areas that are out of balance and understand that balance can’t be restored through intellect, but only through intuition. The intuitive senses you are feeling are to be trusted. The more time you give to yourself to connect with yourself on a soul level (meditation can help) the more you will be able to trust this inner guidance with ease.

Find time for yourself this week to connect back with your soul and your High Priestess. Listen to the messages and trust your gut. You know what to do, wise woman.
