As I was shuffling the cards asking for the card I was meant to research and learn this week one popped out to the side indicating that it was the card calling to be heard. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it was The Star... but I also could believe it because the universe is goddam magic like that. The Star is the very next card in the deck after The Tower. Well played universe. The Star is the card for ‘faith in yourself and in life’s possibilities.’ The Tower brought emotional upheaval and now it’s time for stillness and peace. There is an ibis in the tree which is the symbol for Thoth, who was the ancient Egyptian Lord of Time. He was also the keeper of the Akashic records, scribe to the gods and patron of healers. The Star card is the card for inner healing and healing, and realising your true purpose in this lifetime. You are free to listen to your own heart, to the heart of the world and can reach into the pool of water (the unconscious mind) for the knowledge and energy required to do this. It’s a pool that flows directly back to source. The star grants direct access to the unconscious. The eight points on the star represent the eight deities in the company of Thoth. Eight is the number of strength and regeneration and as Thoth is the patron of healers, it can be seen as healing yourself. You can experience powerful energy and channel it into your life. Creatively and spiritually. ...
After the full moon energy of last week, this was the perfect card to follow. On a personal note I’ve also had quite a lot come up psychically this week, so I’m able to fully appreciate this card even more!#theuniversehasyourback
